On the Brink of Everything

And so it begins. In the 65th year of my life, as a part-time writer, philosopher, theologian, preacher, magician, churchman, cyclist, basketball referee, and restless soul, "retirement" now affords me the time and space to pursue yet another ambition - blogging. Surely there exists a better word in the English language for what blogging does - but for now it will suffice.
What follows in these pages are musings, sometimes pretentious, sometimes ridiculous but always respectful and honest. I write not so much for others but for myself. I write these stirrings of the heart because many of them have been pent up in me for so long and now I have the freedom to surf into bigger waters. I write for my friends and for my grandson pictured above. Perhaps these thoughts will someday become part of his legacy.
As I pursue this I will invite guest editorials and always readers feedback.
And be sure to check out the various sections under the menu "more" where I invite contributions under the categories of: "the unsung," "Pentecostal Quirks", "Voices on the Margins," and some current books that I am reading and recommend.
be blessed,
Randall Holm
